Product Description

Mesophilic Starter Culture for Cheese Making (50L)

Description: Our versatile Mesophilic Starter Culture (R-704)produces a very clean flavour and is perfect for the production of: cheddar, colby, monterey jack, feta, gouda, quark, chèvre, cultured butter, edam and many more. It produces moderate acidity and no gas production (unlike the flora danica), and therefore is best suited to a denser cheese.

Dosage: One sachet treats up to 50L of milk. The culture is best measured using the mini measuring spoons, which can easily measure out small amounts for small quantities of milk (e.g. 4L).

Storage Conditions: Culture needs to be stored in the freezer and lasts up to two years from date of manufacture. Culture is best stored in the sterile jar after opening to avoid contamination and degradation.
