Our Private Cheese Making Classes come to you and occur in your very own home kitchen. Private cheese classes highlight how our particular style of cheese making can beeasily achieved using your own kitchen equipment in a regular urban kitchen.  We come to you, bringing all ingredients necessary to firstly make the cheeses, and secondly ingredients to accompany the cheeses created.

Class Style

Italian

During this cheese making session, you will learn how to handcraft your own Italian cheeses with the focus on fresh hand-stretched Italian Mozzarella and a second cheese of your choice (see options). During this session you will see the transformation from bottled milk into cheese within the time of the class.  As part of this session each participant will be able to stretch their own ball of Mozzarella or Bocconcini and will walk away confident in their ability to make artisan cheese at home using common kitchen equipment.

MOZZARELLA + ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CHEESES:

RICOTTA OR MASCARPONE

TIME: 1.5HRS

COST: $79 PER HEAD (MINIMUM 5 PEOPLE)*

Cypriot Halloumi

During this cheese making session, you will learn how to make squeaky Cypriot halloumi (made using cows milk), and your choice of two other cheeses (see options).  The star of this class is the halloumi, where you will closely be able to follow the transformation from milk in the bottle into halloumi, ready to eat by the end of the class.  You will learn all the tips and tricks to handcraft your own artisan cheeses at home using common kitchen equipment.

HALLOUMI + TWO OF THE FOLLOWING CHEESES:

MOZZARELLA, GOATS CHEESE, CREAM CHEESE, RICOTTA OR MASCARPONE

TIME: 2 – 2.5 HRS

COST: $89 PER HEAD (MINIMUM 5 PEOPLE)*

Mediterranean

This session will cove beautifully creamy persian-style marinated feta + your choice of two other cheeses (see options). You will be taught how to turn store-bought milk into the most delicious feta + more. Learn about controlling the level of saltiness, adding herbs and food pairing inspiration to create new and exciting flavours. The information gained from this session, will have you walking away confident in handcrafting your own artisan cheeses at home, not limited to the cheeses you have learned.

FETA + TWO OF THE FOLLOWING CHEESES:

HALLOUMI, MOZZARELLA, GOATS CHEESE, CREAM CHEESE, RICOTTA OR MASCARPONE

TIME: 3 HRS
