Product Description
Mesophilic Starter Culture 50L
Our versatile Mesophilic Starter Culture (R-704)produces a very clean flavour and is perfect for the production of: cheddar, colby, monterey jack, feta, gouda, quark, chèvre, cultured butter, edam and many more. It produces moderate acidity and no gas production (unlike the flora danica), and therefore is best suited to a denser cheese.
Dosage: One sachet treats up to 50L of milk. Use only a small pinch (the tip of a sharp knife), for 2L of milk.
Storage Conditions: The culture needs to be stored in the freezer on arrival and lasts up to two years from date of manufacture.
