Learn to make both gnocchi & ricotta from scratch.

What’s more impressive than making your own Ricotta Gnocchi from scratch? If you make the Ricotta from scratch too!
At this Mother’s Day class, you will enjoy a glass of French Rosé on arrival, followed by learning to make both Ricotta and Gnocchi from scratch. Finish with a sit-down meal of your amazing creations and any leftovers to take home an enjoy again!
We'll take you through a brief history and the theory of making perfect gnocchi, before you get your hands dirty mixing and kneading the delicate dough. While the dough rests, you’ll learn to make your own Ricotta using store-bought milk.
Finally, shape your Gnocchi and then sit back and relax while we cook and serve it to you with a delectable traditional Italian sauce.

Join us for this hands-on beginners cheese making class at Omnom HQ in Rosebery where we will turn you into a bocconcini and burrata buff in under 2 hours. Sip on bottomless bubbles, while we show you how to whip up delicious cheeses in your urban Sydney kitchen using common kitchen equipment you’ll have at home already.
We’ll cover the basics of milk selection using store-bought milk, acidification, coagulation and finally you’ll be turning the curds into luscious melty bocconcini and creamy-oozy burrata. Walk away with close to 1kg of cheese and the confidence to do it again at home.

BYO container to take your freshly made Burrata & Bocconcini home in! (approximately 1x 1.5L container).
BYO apron (optional - Recommended if you are well dressed and a little messy in the kitchen).
BYO snacks. Optional - please feel free to bring your own snacks if you need a little something to nibble on whilst sipping bottomless bubbles. We also have Cheese Boards that you can add to your booking if you would like to try something different
